This Friday will see revellers descending on the white sand shores of Al Marjan Island for the return of Destination Dawn, Ras Al Khaimah’s much-anticipated 12-hour beach festival.

Headlined by three global DJ sensations, party-goers will kick start the night with the beats of local support acts and British DJ & production duo Hollaphonic taking to the stage from 8pm. Russian trio Swanky Tunes will continue through to 11:30pm, before Dutch duo Bassjackers takes them into the early hours of Saturday, building up to one of Holland’s hottest music exports, R3HAB from 1am.

Event ticket holders from Dubai can reach the party via free shuttle buses from Manara Center Parking (Noor Bank Metro Station), Sheikh Zayed Road. The buses leave Dubai between 5pm – 7pm on October 6, returning from Al Marjan Island between 2am to 5am the next morning.

Those looking to heighten their festival experience and sleep beneath the stars, can still secure one of the limited spots within the festival’s camping area. Situated adjacent to the main stage, festival-goers are encouraged to book ahead of the Friday’s event to secure one of the remaining 100 tent spaces, arriving in plenty of time to pitch-up their own tents and relax before the DJs take to the stage. Alternatively, guests of RIXOS Bab Al Bahr will gain free tickets to Destination Dawn during their stay.

Fuelling revellers throughout the night will be an eclectic menu of cuisines from Ras Al Khaimah’s leading food trucks, including Asian delicacies at Wokinaki and Hooked, international burger flavours from Tandem, which serves a range of salads, burgers and sandwiches, pizza joint Copperwood, and Jammin Chicken, bringing Jamaican poultry dishes to the masses.

Last-minute party-goers can still secure tickets for the over 18’s only event through www.destinationdawn.com, Virgin Tickets, and Platinum List and free entrance for ladies before 8:00pm.
