RAK Airways is the fourth national airline of the United Arab Emirates, established in February 2006 under an Emiri Decree by H.H. Sheikh Saqr bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
The objective of RAK Airways is to support the economic development of the Emirate of Ras al Khaimah as it embarks upon an ambitious expansion program. The developments include economic free zones to attract businesses as well as residential, leisure and tourism projects.
RAK Airways will operate both charter and scheduled services to meet the demand of the various markets that the airline will serve. The airline will provide a high level of service to passengers whether scheduled or charter, aligned with the best service standards in the industry. This will open up the possibility of co-operation with other world class airlines in future to widen the passenger’s choices.
